Explore the British landscape at Hartlepool art exhibition
An exhibition of paintings invites people to consider the changing face of British landscape.
The work of six artists featured in the exhibition at the Hartlepool Art Gallery include: Day Bowman, Dan Coombs, Marguerite Horner, Barbara Howey, Lee Maelzer and Sean Williams.
Edgelands both celebrates and questions our treatment of the landscape, and the work of these six artists explores and documents the landscapes in Britain which are unnamed, overlooked and often forgotten about and yet where beauty does indeed exist and thrive.
