Fire crews called out after person impales hand on gate
Fire crews had to free a person who had impaled their hand on a gate.
Officers were called to Monkseaton Drive in the Wolviston Court area of Billingham just after 4.15pm today.
The person had impaled one of their hands on a fence gate.
Crews from Billingham and Grangetown fire stations rushed to the scene where the person was freed before being handed over to paramedics.
