Fire crews called out to Hartlepool chip shop
Firefighters were called out to a fire at a Hartlepool chip shop on Friday afternoon.
Two crews from Hartlepool Fire Station were called out to Marina Plaice, on Middleton Road, at about 3.10pm.
Marina Plaice later posted on Facebook: “Due to a small fire this afternoon Marina Plaice will be closed until further notice!
“Thankfully no one was hurt and only water damage that will be cleaned so we can reopen as soon as possible!”
