Firefighters tackle car fire near Harltepool’s Brenda Road

Fire crews were called in to tackle a car blaze in Hartlepool this evening.

Firefighters were called to Brenda Road at 6.40 pm on Wednesday, June 16, following reports of a car fire.

One fire appliance attended and a hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

Cleveland Fire Brigade said: “Car fire on open ground. There was one fire appliance sent in and it used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.”
