Kellyanne Stevens, the founder of Dance World by Kellyanne Stevens, was full of praise for her students for helping to fundraise for her school’s second ever production.

She said: “I wanted to raise some money for our show in October as our first - Don’t Stop Believing in 2014 - was the children’s first time on stage, the parents first time experiencing behind the scenes and my first time as a teacher taking full responsibility in directing the show.”

The next show will be even bigger and better and Kellyanne added: “I would love scenery, backcloths and more special effects and in order to do this we have all pulled together as a school and raised money for our ‘show fund’.”

Part of the fundraising drive included a sponsored walk at Hartlepool Marina. Kellyanne added: “We all met at the Old West Quay and walked, danced, and sang our way to the top Seaton promenade and back again, myself, some of the pupils, parents and grandparents took part in this. It was a great day.”

Watch out for more details next week.
