He was a guest aboard the vintage aircraft as it carried out a trial run ahead of the airshow.

Taking off from Newcastle Airport, the plane few over Nissan and along the Wear before heading up the coast and looping back to the airport.

The Bronco is turboprop reconnaissance and light attack plane first used by the USA during the Vietnam War, but has recently been brought back into use in campaigns against ISIS.
