Academy founder Toni Parker-Harvey said: “They have got through to the live finals which are this weekend and on March 19.”

Beyond The Lights is a general talent search which means it includes dancers, actors, singers and group acts.

All three acts will perform in two live rounds which will assess their creativity and individuality.

After all the rounds have been held, winners will be announced at an awards ceremony. There will also be recognition awards for style, image and stand out performances.

The judges will also include one overall winner from all of the talented performers.

But an added bonus, say organisers, is the news that scouts from major labels, shows and productions are attending each round of Beyond The Lights.

Toni added: “One of the rounds challenges them to think outside the box and use creativity.”

All the acts who have reached the live stages get the chance to attend a ceremony on April 30 where awards and scholarships will be given.

Toni said: “It is really good as they all get to perform and they all get invited to the presentation as well.”
