Hartlepool chairman desperate to add one more signing before 11pm deadline

Hartlepool United chairman Gary Coxall insists he is working hard to add another signing to the Pools squad.

Coxall has been keeping fans updated via his Twitter account and he Tweeted: "Trying to get one more done...."

Earlier today, Pools confirmed the loan signing of former striker Luke James on a loan deal until the end of the season from League One side Peterborough United.

The 21-year-old has struggled for form since leaving Pools in the summer of 2014 and he is hoping to reignite his career back where it all began.

And Coxall hopes to be able to announce another signing before the 11pm deadline.

He added: "We are all working very hard at the moment."
