The oven and a worktop suffered 100% fire damage at an address in Linden Grove, Hartlepool, with the kitchen also suffering slight smoke damage.

The alarm was raised at 1.26pm on December 25 with two crews from Hartlepool Community Fire Station spending around 20 minutes at the scene.

Cleveland Fire Brigade have confirmed that the fire was already out when the fire engines arrived.
