Hartlepool MP is on the money to hail apprenticeship success at London Stock Exchange
Hartlepool MP Iain Wright had his finger on the financial button this morning - after opening trading at London Stock Exchange.
The Labour politician answered the London calling to help raise awareness of National Apprenticeship Week and Global Money Week.
Mr Wright was joined at the event by apprentices from the City Gateway charity, an organisation which is dedicated to tackling social and economic inequality
National Apprenticeship Week is organised by the National Apprenticeship Service, and aims to celebrate and promote the positive impact of apprenticeships for young people, employers and the wider economy.
Apprentices not only help young people get a foot on the career ladder - but can help businesses cash in.

Statistics indicate that apprenticeships can boost productivity at businesses by an average of £214 each week.
There is also plenty of scope for career advancement, with 23% of former apprentices earning promotions in their chosen field within 12 months of finishing their tenure.
Global Money Week (GMW) is an international money awareness week with local and regional events and activities aimed at inspiring children and youth to learn about money, saving, creating livelihoods, gaining employment, and becoming an entrepreneur.
