Hartlepool restaurant owner is backing NSPCC
Krimo Bouabda has been supporting the Hartlepool branch of the NSPCC for more than 15 years.
Charity chiefs in the town say Krimo’s donations prove vital for the cause as he is the only person in the town who contributes every year.

This year’s raffle took place over several weeks in Mediterranean restaurant Portifino’s, at Maritime Avenue, and tapas bar Casa Del Mar, on Navigation Point.
In total, the drive raised £650, which will go to supporting local children in numerous ways.
Sandra McCall, branch chairman of Hartlepool NSPCC, said: “We couldn’t do the work we do without him. He is the only person in Hartlepool who contributes to us each year.

“The NSPCC does a lot of unseen work such as support through court cases, training and tackling abuse.
“We would like to thank Krimo for always thinking of us.”
The top prize in each restaurant was a £50 meal voucher for two and staff did a good job selling tickets to customers.
Krimo said: “We have always done it for the NSPCC as Christmas is mainly a time for kids. I wish we could raise a lot more for them.”
