The iconic Prostate Cancer UK ‘Man of Men’ logo will once again appear on the numbers of every English Football League (EFL) player in 2016/17.

The charity has been affiliated with the EFL since 2012 with the two organisations working together to raise awareness of a disease that affects one in eight men in the UK, and raised over £2million to date towards vital research.

And for the third successive season, the official logo of Prostate Cancer UK will be worn by more than 60,000 times on players’ shirts in the Sky Bet EFL next season, following an agreement between the EFL and its’ Official Charity Partner.

“I’m bursting with pride to be a supporter of Hartlepool United after their efforts during the recent Men United March,” admitted Jeff.

“Their send-off on Day One was fantastic and what other club would send their team out to intercept the walk on a wet and windy Easter Sunday.

“It gave me and (former club chief executive) Russ Green an amazing boost, and the news that the club plan to rename the Town End as the Prostate Cancer UK Stand is another wonderful gesture.”
