Hartlepool United v Scunthorpe United is second Victoria Park friendly

Hartlepool United will warm up for the League Two season with another summer date with Scunthorpe United.

Pools have announced the Iron as their third pre-season fixture and the second at Victoria Park, the League One side coming to town on Saturday, July 30 (kick-off 3pm).

Craig Hignett’s first home pre-season friendly will be against Sunderland on Wednesday, July 20, just three days after returning from their Tenerife training camp (7.30pm kick off).

Pools will also travel to Salford City on Tuesday, July 26.

It is the second year in a row that Pools have taken on Scunthorpe in a pre-season friendly after the Iron won 4-0 last summer.

Both clubs have agreed on ticket prices for the game, with adults set to be charged £10 and concessions £5.
