Hartlepool United's postponed visit to Chester has been rearranged.

Craig Harrison's Pools side were due to travel to the Deva Stadium on December 30 last year, but due to a waterlogged pitch the encounter was called off.

Both sides have now agreed to play the game on Tuesday, January 23. Kick off 7.45pm.

When the game was called off, manager Harrison, whose side then had two extra days to prepare for the 2-2 New Year's Day draw with Gateshead, said: "We wanted to play.

"We are disappointed because although it gives us time to prepare, you also just want to get back out, having done so well [at Gateshead on Boxing Day].

"That result, and the performance, gave us confidence. We were desperate to keep the momentum going."

Regarding tickets for this game, a statement, released on Pools official website, reads: "As with the original fixture, Pools fans will be able to buy their tickets for the game at The Swansway Chester Stadium ahead of kick-off on the turnstiles."

Tickets are priced at £18 for adults, £12 for seniors, students, unemployed and armed forces, £10 for under-21s, kids prices range from free for under fives to £5.
