Hop along to Hartlepool libraries' Easter events
Making a 3D goldfish bowl, decorating paste eggs, treasure hunts, creating Easter baskets, the ever-popular baby babble, read and rhyme and sing and sign sessions are just some of the events. There’s also an opportunity to meet some real birds of prey and their handlers in a birds of prey show in Central Library.
Continuing the bird theme, during the second week of the libraries’ stories and rhyme sessions, Natural England – the Government’s independent advisor on the natural environment – will be promoting its illustrated children’s book ‘Migration Day’, which tells the story of the epic journey of one of the Tees Valley’s summer visitors - the common tern.
