It's time to reward the Music Factory's students

A Hartlepool performing arts academy will recognise its top talents during a night of celebration.

The Music Factory will hold its awards evening on Saturday, October 22, at the Owton Manor Social Club.

The academy’s founder Julie Turner said every student will be recognised at the event.

And every one of them will also be showcasing their performing arts abilities because of a plan to hold a series of mini musicals which include Broadway Annie and Chicago.

The evening will also feature “lots of solos, some original song material, and duets,” said Julie.

She added; “Every student will be recognised, however the top recognition prizes will be spent in a recording studio.”

Next on the agenda for the students of the Music Factory will be the musical theatre examinations.

They will be held on Saturday, November 26 and Julie said 18 of her students would be taking the tests.

They cover an age span from nine years old to 50 years old.

It’s been a busy yhear for the academy which also held its show One Vision at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road in Hartlepool earlier this year.
