Just the tip of the iceberg

I read the broadsheets avidly on a daily basis.

I note constantly that political correspondents seem to have a far better understanding of our national problems than all the ruling elite put together.

Their offered solutions and help go unheeded.

They clearly outline glaring blunders made, costing millions of pounds.

They could have been avoided with much better reasoning.

Are they reprimanded, taken to task or offered early retirement?

No, it is swiftly forgotten.

Such is the present state of our nation.

We are in debt by trillions of pounds, increasing annually.

Our country is hopelessly over-populated.

The NHS is on the verge of bankruptcy, our infrastructure is overwhelmed, education standards are way below par and our society is divided.

No real solutions are forthcoming to address the migrant influx or open border controls.

That is just the tip of the iceberg.

Who is to blame?

Our political leaders, past and present.

Who are the scapegoats?

The innocent British taxpayers of course.
