Scott Harrison: At fault for Luton’s third goal, but otherwise was in commanding form, much like his old self. 7

Sean Kavanagh: Distribution poor in the first half but defensively played well. 6

Nicky Featherstone: Stuck to his task in the middle of the park. 6

Brad Walker: Sent to centr-back after the early loss of Bates and two goals but was outstanding in role. 8

Michael Woods: It took him a while to get going but grew as the game wore on and had a great chance to score, shotting just over with his ‘wrong’ foot. 6

Andrew Nelson: Toiled hard in first half as the main striker but could not really get into match and was subbed on the hour. 6

Rhys Oates: Loads of graft from the recalled forward, but that last ball just seems to let him down. Set up Woodss with some strong play though. 5

Nathan Thomas: Looked rusty in the first 45 but improved after the break and was one of the reasons why Pools impressed going forward. 6
