Make sure you register

It is a common view, true or not, that the younger generation has had a raw deal from the Government since the financial crisis.

At least in part because many young people don’t bother to vote.

They should not repeat that mistake in the EU referendum. It’s their future.

As a first step everyone should ensure they are registered to vote, and for a postal vote if they may be away on June 23.

Contact your council offices in time to meet the deadlines of April 18 for registration and April 19 to apply for a postal vote.
