Man charged over taxi driver robbery
A man is due in court over the robbery of a taxi driver in Billingham.
A 25-year-old man from Middlesbrough is expected to appear before Teesside Magistrates Court, today, charged with robbery.
He is alleged to have robbed a taxi driver outside the Station Public House, Station Road, near to the railway crossing, on Thursday February 18.
A 27-year-old man from the Billingham area also arrested on suspicion of robbery is currently in police custody.
