Man charged with murder of Norma Bell

Cleveland Police have charged a man with the murder of Norma Bell from Hartlepool.

He has been remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday April 9.

Mrs Bell’s family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.

Mrs Bell was found dead at her home on Sunday after reports of a fire.

Detectives say the murder took place sometime between late evening on Saturday and the morning of Sunday at her home in Westbourne Road in Hartlepool.
