Man taken to hospital with leg wound after incident on York Road in Hartlepool

A man was taken to hospital after suffering a leg injury on York Road in Hartlepool on Friday night.

The North East Ambulance service have confirmed they were called to an incident on York Road just before 7:30 pm last night (Friday, March 26).

An ambulance attended the scene and treated a man for a leg injury. He was then taken to North Tees Hospital.

A spokesperson for the Ambulance service said: “We got a 999 call at 7:25 pm last night (March 26) and dispatched an ambulance, who treated a man bleeding from a leg wound, before taking him to North Tees Hospital.”

The reasons of the incident are currently unknown.
