Missing teenager Sam Harris found safe and well

Officers have confirmed that a teenage boy who went missing on Friday afternoon has been found safe and well.

Fourteen-year-old Sam Harris had last been seen in Billingham at 2.30pm yesterday, prompting a police alert.

Cleveland Police launched an appeal on Saturday morning, urging members of the public to get in touch via 101 if they had any information.

The force confirmed at on Saturday afternoon that the 14-year-old had been located, and thanked the public for the support with the search.
