Missing Trimdon mum-of-three found safe and well
A MUM-OF-THREE who had not been seen since midnight has turned up safe and well.
Durham Constabulary had launched an appeal after Rachel Large, 39, left her home in Langdale Oval, Trimdon Colliery, shortly after midnight without telling her husband or children where she intended to go.
There had been serious concerns for Rachel’s welfare and officers were searching Wingate Nature Reserve.
But she was found on Thursday afternoon.
A force spokesman said: “We are pleased to report that within the last 15 minutes Rachel was traced safe and well in the Peterlee area.
“Thanks to all those of you who shared the appeal.”
