Motorcyclist dies after road collision in Hartlepool

The motorcyclist died following the collision on Chester Road.

Police were called to the incident at around 6.20pm last night after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and Audi A4 vehicle.

Officers are appealing for information from any witnesses.

A Cleveland police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on Chester Road at around 6:20pm last night, Tuesday 24th November.

“The collision involved a motorcycle and an Audi A4 vehicle. Sadly, the male motorbike rider died at the scene.

“Our thoughts remain with his family at this extremely difficult time.

“Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured it on dash cam/ private CCTV footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 192753.”
