This is expected to be a year of strong growth with the expected announcement of another significant contract with a Teesside company in the pipeline. Expansion is expected in UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Jobs are expected to be created with bosses looking for experienced people to join the site protection team. CFB RM employs more than 30 full time staff, 150 part-time skilled support workers and has a bank of others available when needed.

Technical director Gary Cawley said: “Our employees are our greatest asset. They are not only highly professional but have unparalleled experience and expertise.”

The company’s aim, said Mr Cawley, is “to be recognised internationally for our risk management services.”

As a Community Interest Company all profits go back into the community - supporting projects that improve safety and quality of life.

Last year, the firm invested £100,000 in a state-of-the-art training facility, 19 officers won an internationally recognised diploma in industrial fire management, and ten new recruits being offered the chance of a career in risk management services in a partnership between Hartlepool College of Further Education & CFB Risk Management.
