Trevor Carson: Solid as last line of defence, rescued Pools by saving from Scott Boden after a Matthew Bates mistake and two great second half saves. 8

Carl Magnay: Continued his good form at right-back. 7

Matthew Bates: One first-half mistake apart, excellent at back, even had a last-minute charge forward. 7

Adam Jackson: Came in for the injured Rob Jones and commanding at back. 7

Jake Carroll: Carried on his superb play, positive going forward and good at back. 7

Nicky Featherstome: Always available and kept play ticking along nicely. Tremendous again 8

Lewis Hawkins: You can see how positive the young midfielder is, terrific energy. 7

Jake Gray: Looked to get on the ball and get forward at every opportunity, went close early in second half. 8
