Obligations
Iceland, like Norway, is a member of the European Economic Area '“ one of the options mooted for Britain if we leave the EU.
From Brussels came news that Iceland has been referred to a trade tribunal for failure to incorporate into national law EU directives on the transport of dangerous goods and on inspection of commercial vehicles.
Here is further evidence that Britain would not enjoy the advantages of free access to the single market without the obligations.
