One person rescued and taken to hospital after house fire in Hartlepool

Firefighters rescued one person from a house fire in Hartlepool on Friday night.

The brigade was called to Sidings Close, off Mainsforth Terrace, at around 7pm on July 2.

Engines from Hartlepool Billingham and Stockton attended with the casualty being taken to hospital by ambulance.

No details on their condition or damage to the house has so far been available.

A fire investigation was due to start on Saturday, July 3.

Four breathing apparatus (BA) and positive pressure ventilation was used and the incident ended at around 9.20pm.
