By making a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) you are able to choose who has the responsibility of looking after your affairs if you were to become incapable of doing so yourself.

There are two different types of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA): Health and Welfare Lasting Powers of Attorney and Financial. You may need one or both, it very much depends on the circumstances.
