LETTER: Bad parking will caused an accident

I AM writing to the Mail to complain about people parking their cars on the pavement on the town’s King Oswy Drive.

They blatantly drive on the pavement, and park outside of their houses.

I have reported this to the highways department at the Civic Centre umpteen times but it must have fallen on deaf ears.

I am afraid this is an accident waiting to happen because these cars pass several houses on the pavement before they park up outside of their houses.

The houses that they do pass have several young children playing in the gardens.

You know as well as I know what children are like for running in and out of the garden.
