5. Christmas Lights Switch On
The big festive lights switch-on organised by Hartlepool Borough Council is always a highlight in the run up to Christmas.
Details are yet to be announced for this year's event. 6. Santa Run
Join Alice House Hospice's merry band of Santas and Rudolfs for a festive run in Ward Jackson Park. The 12th annual Santa Fun Run takes place on Sunday, December 1, at 11am. Registration is £8 for adults and includes a Santa suit, and £5 for children aged 16 years or under. Photo: Kevin Brady
7. Hartlepool Male Voice Choir's Christmas Concert
Enjoy seasonal music with Hartlepool Male Voice Choir in their 38th Christmas Concert on Friday, December 13, at the Borough Hall.
