Wet and wild fun returned to the Headland this weekend with the Hartlepool Carnival Raft Race.

And our photographer was there to capture the splash-tastic action on camera as the rafts took to water on Saturday, September 4.

Three teams joined the fun, paddling from the Fish Sands out into the bay and back again in the fastest time on their home-made rafts.
