With Easter almost upon us, Hartlepool’s coast would normally be bustling with families and people keen to get out and enjoy the start of spring.

But as the coronavirus lockdown continues, this weekend is set to be much quieter than usual if these scenes of visitor hotspots the Headland and marina are anything to go by.

Mail photographer Stuart Norton found the majority of people are sticking to the rules to stay at home and only go out when absolutely necessary and for daily exercise starting and ending from home.
