The Thief, His Wife and The Canoe will explore the jaw-dropping plot, which saw John fake his death in a canoeing accident in 2002 so that he could start a new life abroad with wife Anne.
ITV have confirmed that the series will start airing nightly at 9pm on Easter Sunday, April 17, through to Wednesday, April 20.
