Launching the search over the weekend, some of you came forward on Facebook to talk about the special people making a difference to you.
Find out about just some of the town’s Lockdown Heroes below; and if you have someone who you think deserves a shout out be sure to message the Mail on Facebook.
Don’t forget to include their name, picture and a summary of what they do.

Maureen Davies said: “Les and Jackie Watts with their worldwide lockdown disco, they have done this every Saturday night since March and gave everyone something to look forward to every week. People all over the world tune into it, they are amazing.”
