Brave Noah Griffiths, 2, who was diagnosed with a grade 3 glioma tumour in the summer, has a real love of motor bikes.

And to make his Christmas extra special, a Hartlepool motor bike club called ‘Eights and Aces’ is organising a cavalcade to Noah’s home.

They will arrive on Christmas Eve and will be bringing Santa Claus with them. It promises to be a wonderful sight for the little boy who is facing 45 weeks of chemotherapy.

But the motor bike club is appealing for more North East bikers to join in with the cavalcade so that the festive surprise is even more special for the brave youngster.

Mark Cantwell, who is part of the ‘Eights and Aces’, said: “We want to put on the whole bells and whistles for Noah.

"We are going to get Santa on the back of a trike and we are hoping to reach out to other bikers as well. We want to get the message out there for them to join in,

"We are trying to get as many motor bikers as possible and we will be meeting outside Mecca in Hartlepool at 3pm on Christmas Eve, before moving out from there.”

Eights and Aces is a motor bike club made up of former Forces personnel and they like to help worthy causes.

Mark, formerly of the Queens Guard, said: “We want to make this as big an afternoon for Noah as we can.”

It is so close to his brain that it can’t be operated on, and although he is receiving excellent treatment from North East doctors, no-one knows yet whether Noah will go blind.

But despite it all, two-year-old Noah is still proving to be a little battler, said his mum Abbieleigh Griffiths when she spoke to the Mail recently.

The lives of Abbieleigh, Noah’s dad Jamie Greenhow, 20, Noah, two years, and baby daughter Ivy, 22 months were changed forever in the summer when Noah had a seizure and was rushed to hospital for tests including MRI scans.

And by complete coincidence, the tests for the seizure also showed up a totally unrelated tumour which was on Noah’s brain.

His friends and family have launched a fundraising battle to get him to Disneyland in Paris but the people of Hartlepool have also taken the little boy to their hearts.

Now comes the plans for the motor bike cavalcade. To support it, bikers are urged to meet outside Mecca at 3pm on Christmas Eve.
