Police officers have cordoned off parts of the path which connects Wiltshire Way, in Hartlepool, with Grayfield Sports Pavilion, on Monday evening (May 18).

The details of the incident are currently unknown but Cleveland Police has confirmed to the Mail that police are in attendance.

Pictures show a number of police officers and crime scene investigators at the scene.

Forensic teams are at the scene of a police incident in Hartlepool

A spokesman for North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called to an incident in Wiltshire Way, in Hartlepool, at 4.58pm and dispatched an advanced paramedic.”
