Eight people in this Hartlepool street are celebrating a lottery windfall

The Hartlepool residents will all receive £1,000 after their TS25 5BH postcode was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on November 23.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her best wishes to the eight neighbours in Whitfield Drive, Hartlepool, adding: ‘What a great way to start the week, congratulations to our winners in Hartlepool.

"I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.”

Whitfield Drive is the latest in a lengthy series of lottery winning addresses across the Hartlepool area during 2020.

A minimum of 32% of postcode lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities and players have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

The November 23 draw was promoted by Postcode Care Trust, which supports charities and good causes through grant funding.
