Hartlepool couple have Valentine's Day they'll never forget with early arrival of baby girl

Proud parents Brandon Roberts, 24, and Georgia West, 25, welcomed their daughter into the world at 4.38pm on Sunday, February 14, at the University Hospital of North Tees, in Stockton.
The baby girl, who weighted six pounds exactly, hasn’t been named yet after arriving early – almost three weeks before her due date on March 6.

Hide AdBrandon, a bricklayer, and Georgia have been together for nine years are over the moon with the new member of their family, as is their first child Isla, age three, who is delighted to have a little sister.
Georgia, who worked as a residential social care officer, said: “She’s absolutely over the moon. We didn’t know if we were having a girl or a boy and she said she was hoping for a little sister.
"We’re so happy to have her home. It’s a Valentine’s Day we won’t forget that’s for sure."
The mum-of-two added: "The hospital staff were absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have thanked them any more. It all happened so quickly we thought it was going to be a longer labour but we had our baby girl in 20 minutes.

Hide Ad"I gave birth at 4.38pm and we were home by just after 10pm, her big sister was just so excited to see her we have couldn’t made her wait any longer.
"We haven’t decided on a name yet we’re just trying to find one we think suits her.”
