Hartlepool pub's free pint offer to celebrate England football star's birthday

The Stag and Monkey, in Brenda Road, Hartlepool and other Hungry Horse pubs nationwide will be offering a pint or non-alcoholic drink to anyone called either Jude, Judith or Judy on Tuesday, June 29, when the midfield prodigy turns 18.

His birthday coincides with the national team’s Euro 2020 last 16 clash with Germany at Wembley.

Rob Calderbank, business unit director at Hungry Horse said “We wanted to celebrate the true talent of this inspirational man by offering a free drink to those lucky enough to have a similar name too.

“We’re delighted to be offering a drink to our Jude/Judith and Judy’s out there and wish Jude a very happy 18th birthday.

"We also wish him and the team the best of luck in their game against Germany.”

Anyone eligible is urged to take proof of ID with them when they go to the bar.
