The event will take place from Saturday, June 10, until Sunday, June 11, from 10am until 5pm at Grayfields Sports Pavilion, in Jesmond Gardens.

There will be battle re-enactments and living history displays with participants wearing Roman, Viking and Second World War costumes among others.

Entry to the event is free, with all funds raised on the day going to Veterans At Ease and to support the sports pavilion.

This is one of a number of events that Trevor Gray, an ex-veteran, has organised in support of the charity and one that he holds close to his heart.

Rob Cairns, who is supporting Trevor with the event, said: “The event is free. All we ask is that people make a donation in one of the buckets.”
