And if you’re looking to do a good turn this festive season, Hartlepool Foodbank is appealing for donations to support those families across the town who need its help.

From Christmas food and treats to essential toiletries, the foodbank team needs you to top up its stocks so it can continue making parcels for those who may otherwise go without.

So while you pop to the supermarket to stock up for lunch on December 25, or that all-important festive buffet, please consider adding something else to your trolley for a good cause.
