Earlier this month, Prime Minister Boris Johnson relaxed certain Covid-19 lockdown measures, enabling people to take unlimited exercises outdoors or spend time picnicking, sunbathing and getting fresh air – all while maintaining the requisite two metres apart from others for social distancing. And the sunshine weather prompted scores of families to take some time outside in Hartlepool and at Seaton Carew on Monday, May 25 – Bank Holiday Monday – with seafronts, beaches and parks welcoming visitors.
