A missing Hartlepool woman has been found safe.

Cleveland Police had launched an urgent appeal to trace Diane Foster, who had last been seen in the Headland area sometime between Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17.

She was described as ‘extremely vulnerable’ .

Police confirmed last night, Saturday, July 18, that she had been traced.

A statement on the force Facebook page said: “Missing Diane Foster, 62, has been located. Thank you to the 700+ people for sharing the appeal."
