The Hartlepool Mail celebrated Hartlepool United’s return to the English Football League after a four-year absence with nine pages of coverage in Monday’s edition.
That was quickly followed by a 12-page souvenir supplement inside Wednesday’s paper dedicated to the achievements of manager David Challinor and his players.

Managing director Nicola Burrows said: “From an economic point of view, this football result cannot be underestimated.
"The exposure the town will get from being back in the Football League is huge.”
If you missed either edition – or indeed want to buy more copies toasting the club’s National League play-off final victory over Torquay United on Sunday – then we have limited numbers still available.
