Pictures from a cold Easter Monday in Hartlepool as families wrap up and head to coast
It was certainly a chilly Easter Monday this year – but the cold weather and bracing winds did not stop some of you heading out to enjoy the fresh air at Hartlepool’s coastline.
The mini-heatwave leading up to Easter, which saw high temperatures of 18°C at the start of last week, seems like a distant memory as we woke up to icy temperatures and, in other parts of the North East snow!
But it was big coat weather on Monday, April 5 – and it seems like there’s more cold weather in store for the rest of this week, according to the latest Met Office forecast.
