Plea to trace relatives of dead Hartlepool woman

An appeal has been made to the public for help in tracing any surviving relatives of a woman who has died.

Elizabeth Dalziel MacArthur, nee Stewart, of Hartfields retirement village, in Hartlepool, who was born on June 2, 1953, passed away aged 67 on Saturday, September 12.

Louise Gillis, Hartlepool Borough Council’s user property and finance officer, has now said: “We are very keen to trace Mrs MacArthur’s surviving relatives at this sad time.

“Unfortunately the details which we have are very limited but we understand that before coming to Hartlepool about 20 years ago, Mrs MacArthur had at one time lived in Greengairs, in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
