Police have issued a plea for help in tracing a missing teenage schoolgirl.

A Cleveland Police statement released on Saturday, October 24, said: “Police are looking for Ellie Stephens who was last seen yesterday afternoon in the Billingham area.

“She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with a beige jacket underneath, black leggings and dark blue trainers.

“Ellie is described as white, 5ft tall with long brown hair and green eyes.

“Anyone who has seen Ellie is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.”
