Police contact family of missing Gabriel Kariuki after body found on Hartlepool beach

Cleveland Police have said the body of a man was found at Seaton Carew beach on Friday, June 25.

Cleveland Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been located at Seaton Carew.

A force spokesperson said: “Officers have today, Friday, June 25, found the body of a man on the beach at Seaton Carew.

"Whilst no formal identification has taken place as yet, officers are in contact with missing Gabriel Kariuki’s family and have informed them that a body has been located.”

Gabriel, 26, was last spotted in the Victoria Road area on May 18.
